This is the first level in Nintendos, Super Mario Bros. game for the original Nintendo. The first level, played by Brian Haas, was captured and then exported to an animation editor. 691 painstaking frames later, this is what we came up with! A very obviously fan-made video for "Pac-Man," a rare song by "Weird Al" Yankovic (parody of "Taxman" by The Beatles). Couldve been a lot worse if I didnt have Photoshop or Imageready… but it doesnt matter. The reason I made this was to let the good people listen to the song.
Making the assumption that if cognition was to be found in non-human species, it would most likely be in the ones that were most similar to ourselves – bonobos. In this modern age experiment, a test is being conducted to exercise the hand-eye coordination of bonobos and whether they can understand an end goal. On a side note: this ape seems right at home in the video game world. But I am still not seeing the importance of teaching him how to play Pacman. Now Donkey-Kong, thats a game I think he would like.
